  • Mini Dental Implants: FDA approved miniature titanium implant system with the head of the implant shaped like a ball and the retaining fixture acting like a socket that contains a rubber O-ring. The O-ring snaps over the ball when the denture is seated holding it in place while gently resting on the gum tissue. Advantages are they are minimally invasive surgery, low cost, used to stabilize dentures, used to replace single teeth, and be able to eat immediately after placement.

  • Somnodent Snoring/Sleep Apnea Appliance: a comfortable and effective oral device which fits over the top and bottom teeth and is used in the treatment of snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnea. This appliance repositions the lower jaw forward, opening the posterior airway and reducing collapsibility. Advantages: better quality sleep, decreased headaches, decreased daytime sleepiness, increased concentration, and peace and quiet for your bed partner.

  • Inman Aligner: a minor tooth movement appliance used to gently align crooked top and bottom front teeth. It applies patented spring action pressure to your front teeth gently guiding them to an ideal position quickly, effectively, and in a manner of weeks, not years like traditional braces.

  • Whitening For Life: For a one time fee of $99, you will be enrolled in this program and receive free teeth bleaching gel for life. All we ask is that you maintain your 6 month dental cleaning appointments and provide atleast 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Our normal home teeth whitening kit costs over $200, so this is a great bargain.

  • Nitrous Oxide & Oral Sedation: we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), at patient request, as a form of mild sedation due to dental anxiety. Nitrous oxide is a blend of oxygen and nitrous oxide gases, and when inhaled, it creates a calming effect making the dental appointment more relaxing. Oral sedation is achieved by taking a prescribed pill the night before and one hour prior to the dental appointment, allowing for total relaxation and comfort during your dental procedure.

  • Sealants - a dental sealant is a plastic resin material which bonds to the chewing surfaces and seals the grooves of the posterior teeth (premolars and molars) preventing cavities in children.

  • Composite Resin Restorations - tooth colored fillings that are adhesively bonded to the tooth structure resulting in a more conservative and esthetic appearance, as well as normal function.

  • Veneers - thin facings of porcelain bonded to the front side of the teeth and are used to make cosmetic improvements to teeth that are discolored, worn, chipped, or misaligned.

  • Crowns - "caps" cover the entire biting surface of a tooth; are fabricated out of all porcelain, porcelain fused to gold, or gold; and are cemented into place. A crown is recommended for the following reasons: to strengthen a tooth that has fractured, a tooth which has an existing dental restoration/filling covering 50% or greater of the biting surface, restore a tooth to its original shape, or improve the cosmetic appearance of a tooth.

  • Bridge - a bridge is designed to fill in the area left by one or more missing teeth and restore proper biting function. A bridge is a row of porcelain crowns with a false porcelain tooth or teeth, known as a pontic(s), fused between the porcelain crowns. The porcelain crowns supporting the pontic(s) are cemented into place. (see photo above)

  • Implant Restorations - a dental implant is a small titanium post that is surgically placed in the upper or lower jaw bone which acts as a tooth root. An implant can be used to restore a missing tooth (with a crown) or multiple teeth (with a bridge) or used to improve support and retention for an upper or lower denture.

  • Valplast Flexible Removable Partial Dentures - a Valplast flexible removable partial denture is made of biocompatible, thermoplastic nylon resin. This removable partial denture offers unique physical and esthetic properties and eliminates the concern with acrylic or metal allergies. The clasps rest on the tooth near the gum line and blend with the color of the gums making them practically invisible.

  • Complete Dentures - we use the Simply Natural Denture system by Glidewell Dental Laboratory in California and Aesthetic Dental Arts Laboratory in Lafayette.  This system incorporates the individual characteristics of each patient by emphasizing the proper arrangement and size of teeth as well as the contours of natural tissue.

  • Immediate Complete Dentures: when complete extractions of your remaining teeth become unavoidable, an immediate denture will help you avoid the embarrassment of being without teeth. An impression is made of your existing teeth and gums prior to the extraction surgery and is used as working models for the fabrication construction of your new dentures. At the extraction appointment, your immediate dentures are inserted avoiding the embarrassment of having no teeth during your healing period.

  • NTI-tss Plus Splint and Neuromuscular Splint: the NTI-tss Plus fits on the lower anterior teeth and protects teeth, muscles, and joints by supressing parafunctional muscle contraction by 70%. It simply and effectively helps relieve tension and migraine headaches by reducing the intensity of jaw clenching while the patient sleeps. Patients with severe TMJ problems may also be treated with a Neuromuscular splint which is fabricated from a TENS bite record, repositions the lower jaw to the patients neuromuscular position, and decompresses the joint.

  • Athletic Mouth Guards - professionally fabricated athletic mouth guards protect the lips, teeth, gums, and underlying bone from trauma and injuries associated with athletic sports, as well as concussion prevention.

  • Tooth Bleaching / Whitening - "tray-based at home bleaching" is the most common way for patients to achieve a whiter smile. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed into a bleaching tray (custom fitted to your teeth) and is seated over the patient's teeth for a designated amount of time per day, over a series of days or weeks, until the desired whiteness is achieved.

  • Root Canal Therapy - root canal therapy is needed when a tooth's pulp (nerve and blood supply) become infected or inflamed due to trauma or cavities. Special files and irrigation are used to remove the infection and unhealthy pulp from each canal. The canal(s) is filled with gutta-percha and the tooth is usually restored with a post and core build up and crown.

  • Wisdom Teeth and Dental Extractions - an extraction is the removal of a tooth from the mouth. This procedure is performed on teeth that are unable to be restored due to a cavity or infection, gum disease,  insufficient space for wisdom teeth, and for orthodontic (braces) reasons.

  • CAESY Dental Education System: CAESY is a comprehensive 3D software program used in our dental operatories and consult room to explain diagnoses, procedures, alternatives and post-op instructions to patients. CAESY covers an extensive range of dental topics, from hygiene to restorative, esthetic to periodontal disease, so our patients quickly understand their treatment options and can make informed decisions.
